Neglected

This poor blog has been so neglected. So much has happened and I just haven't had time  to sit and share it! We moved, birthdays, baptisms, vacations, new school year, too much to list. I will try to get this thing updated but no guarantees! We have a two year old in the house now and he is an absolute monster! Just within the past hour he has scaled the pantry shelves and got himself stuck, dumped a bowl of popcorn on the floor, turned on the kitchen faucet and flooded the floor, and bit his sister! If he lives through the day it will be a miracle!

4th of July

We started the morning with
the parade in downtown Cedar City. The kids had fun hanging out with their cousins and caught lots of candy and otter pops!

After the parade we stopped by Wallly World for some bait and nightcrawlers, grabbed some lunch and then headed up the Mt. to Woods Ranch. The kids where a little hesitant about fishing at first but quickly got the hang of it! Taytum loved baiting everybodys hooks with worms!Fallon was very concerned for the worms saftey and didnt want them to escape. At one point she yelled at her sister to, "put the damned lid on them!" Both girls caught a few fish and Bubba even touched one. We stayed for a few hours and had so much fun!

That evening we went to Parowan to the Beckwiths for a BBQ. The kids had fun playing outside and we all enjoyed the cooler weather!

Baby Moos

A few of the cows that Ryan and Bubba practice on we're due to calve anytime so they pulled them out and have been waiting for babies. One finally calved the other day so we had to go check her out! Cute little red heifer!

Preschool Water Day

For Fallon's last day of preschool the kids all got to play in the water. When I asked Fallon  if she had fun her response was,"no, they just had baby pools and I couldn't even swim in them!"  Haha such a big girl she has grown to be!

Taytum's Tire Swing

Taytum's class was given an assignment to make something out of a recyclable product that they can sell. She searched Pinterest and the Internet and choose to make a tire swing. Ryan picked up a tire from the shop, Tay cleaned and painted it pink. Her dad helped her put some bolts on it and hung it with some rope! She has been very protective of it as not to ruin the paint job! She made a advertisement board and set a price of $25 dollars. Last Thursday she took it to school to be judged! We are waiting for the final results. Who knows maybe she has a future in the tire swing business!

Kissing Cousins

We went to the ball game to watch Slade and Kashten play and Stihl found his woman Jaxon! These two are so funny together! They always share all their treats and they share kisses!  Each day at school as we wait for the kids to get out they both sit in their carseats and jabber out the window to each other! They are quite the pair!

Helldorado Rodeo

Ryan roped in the Helldorado again this year with Bubba Williams. We all headed into town as soon as Taytum got out of school. Most of the family was there to watch as grandpa and Uncle Justin roped too! It was a fun night downtown!

Kindergarten Roundup

Fallon is all signed up to start kindergarten in the fall! Se had to have a few shots and took it like a tough little cowgirl! She is so excited to start school and get to ride the bus! Hoping we get one of our favorite teachers!

Great Grandma Ann

We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa a few weeks ago. Grandma was getting ready to go in for surgery on her carpal tunnel. Stihl took Grandma on a walk outside to see all her pretty flowers! So thankful to have her in our lives!

Pee Wee Showmanship

All three of my babies showed this year! Taytum showed a lamb, Fallon a hog, and Stihl a goat! I was running like crazy trying to get them and their animals ready and Ry just kind of stood there with no clue of what to do! He is surely going to have his eyes opened in a few years when this all gets real! City boy meets stockshowkid dad!!! They all did a great job and I was so proud of each of them. I just hope they continue to have a desire to show, but if they don't that's okay too! LOVE my little stockshow kids!

More CC Fair

Taytum and Fallon have been in cheerleading all year and this was their big debut!! They have been practicing for months and months! I honesty don't know where they get their talent from because mom and dad certainly have no moves! Coach Jen is so great with all these cute girls. Grandma & Grandpa Yardley, Aunt Trisha an the girls, and Uncle Jake and Aunt Krystal and little S all came to watch!
They both did such and awesome job! Taytum landed her cartwheel perfect, and Fallon was just shaking her thing up there ! I was so proud if both of them!!! We had to celebrate with shaved ice! Go Pirates!!!!

CC Fair Day2

I spent most of the day on Thursday busy doing pictures of some stubborn A hogs, lambs goats and steers! Taytum went  to school and they had a field trip day to the fair, Fallon and Stihl got passed around most of the day but still managed to have fun! That night Bubs and Aunt Summer roped in the sponsor roping and ended up coming back with a leg.

Fallon holding her new cousin Kimber! We all kind of like her a little bit!
 Stihl yelling at the moos!
Uncle Bub and Aunt Summer

CC Fair Day 1

Our first day started out with kids not wanting to get out of bed- bad sign already!
Stihl entertained himself most of the day bye playing in the dirt with his bucket and shovel.
This was probably our 15th trip to the fairgrounds! We always take the back road with the whoops for a little entertainment!

Diamond H

We spent the weekend in Utah with the Tibbetts. The boys hauled up the cattle and horses and we came up later in the afternoon when school got out. It was windy and cold, but it always is there. Stihl enjoyed yelling at the moos and playing in the dirt with JT. The girls all ran wild! They found a huge rock pile that kept them busy and got them filthy! They had a nice bath that night! Toots watched our monsters that evening so we could go to dinner at Rustys. It was way yummy! The cousins came home with us and had a sleepover, then the next morning it was back to roping! Lots of dirt, cow pies and fun!
