Yummy

Mrs. Clause

Grandma Ann had us all over for dinner on Christmas Day and it was so yummy as always! She makes the best food ever! And there is always way to much of it! Ever since I was a little girl I can remember going to Grandma's house on Christmas Day!It was so exciting to always see our HUGE bags of presents and I am so glad my girls get to experience that same magic I did as a kid! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for having us all over for Christmas!

She found Rudolph's hoof print!

Taytum had to be woken up on Christmas morning! She was so excited the night before she couldn't hardly stand it! We finally got her calmed downed and into bed and our very Hispanic neighbors down the street decided to have a party! It was awful- their music was vibrating our house! Ryan took a quick ride on the 4-wheeler and the music stopped!
After Ryan woke her up she went straight to the cookies and milk she had left for Santa! She was very upset that Santa had not drank ALL his milk! She then discovered her new jewelry box with lots of pretties and a new table for tea parties! She headed right out the door to look for a new trampoline, and sure enough it was there! At first she said, " Dad, Santa just brought Grandpa's trampoline to our house", but upon further inspection she found that the reindeer had left hoof prints in the grass! She is so smart! She helped Fally open most all of her gifts and is staying busy playing with all her new toys!

Fallon's First

Fally had a great First Christmas! She got so many new toys that she is still a little overwhelmed! She really didn't care to open any gifts, but that was okay, big sis helped her out!!She really didn't even care to play with the paper and bows! She just wanted to sit on daddy's lap and take it all in. She is really enjoying her new piano and her pink horsey- when she can get it away from sister!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went To Beaver Dam to Riley and Lindsay's for the Frei Family Party! It was soo much fun! The kids all had a blast playing and the adults all ate way to much yummy Mexican food! Grandpa and Grandma gave Fallon a new belt and Taytum got some much needed new boots- but they are on back order, so she settled on opening her mud boots! The kids all exchanged gifts and Tater loves her Pretty Princess game, and Fallon is carrying her new duck around everywhere she goes! Taytum was not very happy to be leaving the Frei's - she wants to live with the them! We made it home in time to open our jammies, have baths and leave some cookies for Santa!

Christmas Digs

I wanted to get a cute picture of the girls in there Christmas outfits- IMPOSSIBLE!
This was just after church, and it was a rough day! Fallon was so exhausted and Taytum was ticked because she couldn't see over the old lady with big gray hair that was sitting in front of her! The primary kids acted out the nativity so I was on the stage with them and Ry had both girls! Taytum went from lap to lap to find a good seat but she just couldn't get away from the lady with the big gray hair! So Funny! She is still talking about it! Maybe next week we will try it before we go to church!

So Grateful...

With all the rush of our busy lives lately I just wanted to write down the things I am most grateful for.

First of all my Dear Savior Jesus Christ and the life he gave for us all, for our church leaders and the many uncounted hours of service they give to lead us in the right direction- especially in these tough days.

I am grateful for my husband! He keeps me headed in the right path. He works his tail off every single day to help keep our family going! He sacrifices so much for us and he will never now how much we love him for that. He is up at 4 am every morning to provide us. He can build and fix anything, and dedicates what little extra time he has to the Young Men's. He honors his priesthood and loves his baby girls! I don't know where I would be without him!

I am grateful for my two sweet baby girls! I can't imagine life without them. They are growing and changing everyday! I wish I could just stop time, and keep them little forever! I'm so blessed that the Lord sent them to me to be there mommy!

I am grateful for my family and for Ryan's family. I am so lucky to live close to them all.I feel so lucky to have there support and help whenever I need it! I am grateful that they raised us both in the gospel and taught us right from wrong.

I have so much to be grateful for especially in these trying days when finances are tight and the world is such a mean place. I look at others and realize just how extremely blessed I really am. I really don't have it so bad. I am so blessed to have the gospel in my life and to know that I need to have faith in this life and the next!

Excalibur

While we where in town Grandma Karm wanted to take the two devils to ride the Polar Express at the Excalibur! We got there and Tater was 1 inch to short! 1 flipping inch and the lady at the arcade desk thought she was soo important that she wouldn't let her on the ride! Come on people get a life! Maybe you work in an arcade for a reason! Seriously if it was a roller coaster or something dangerous I can understand, but a motion ride! Pleaseee! So meanwhile why Grandma and Lexi where off enjoying the Polar Express ( which turned out to be totally stupid anyways!) Taytum wasted lots of money at the arcade!

Dear Mary...

I hope you enjoyed your night in jail for the DUI and the accident you caused! That's right I got hit by a drunk driver! Let me tell you I had a wonderful two weeks in Vegas!
Sunday night I was on my way to the rodeo, sitting at the stop light, literally 5 minutes from the Thomas and Mack, when this chicka in a little Honda Civic (who had obviously been out having a great time) decided to plow into the back of my truck which caused me to hit the car in front of me and them into the one in front of it!
Thankfully no one was hurt and I am sooo glad I didn't have the girls with me! At first I was a little shocked and couldn't believe what had just happened- BUT after Little Miss Mary refused to take a breathalyzer and was handcuffed for a DUI I was ticked! If the cops wouldn't have been there I think I could have thrown her on the ground and kicked her to a pulp! Ryan got there quick, and that alone calmed me down. Although the people in front of me where going to start some sort of Karate moves on Miss Mary because there car was brand new and not even registered yet! We are now on our second rental truck and second body shop! Hopefully some day soon I will have my truck back! I am soo glad to be home and out of Vegas! I hate that place and have no intentions of ever going down town again!

Long Weekend and LOTS of Turkey!

On Thursday we started Thanksgiving at our house with the in-laws and Grandpa and Grandma Alexander! Lot's of good food and great weather- it rained the day before so it was pretty muddy outside , Jake decided to see if he could get Ryan's truck stuck in the backyard! He almost succeeded, made Ryan very mad but we all got a good laugh at it! Tater headed to Cedar that night with Grandma and Grandpa so Trisha and I could hit Wal-Mart the next morning! What a joke that was- I would not recommend the Mesquite Wal-Mart to anyone on Black Friday! It was just like the movies when they lock you outside- literally locked out! We got a few deals with the help of Carly and Reagen RUNNING to the back of the store to grab stuff! Later that morning Ryan, Fally and I went to Cedar, for more shopping and to get a load of hay! Saturday we enjoyed more T-Day dinner and lots of games of Scum! Got up early Sunday to hit the road and get home for church! We had a great weekend, ate too much and enjoyed all our families company! Now I am busily washing clothes and packing for 12 fun filled days in Vegas! Rodeo Time! I can't believe it is already here!I have told Ryan before that I was done with running flags- but some how I always end up back there! So just for the record this is it- the last year! I promise- I really am just getting him back for leaving me so often to go rope and chase his cows!Hopefully after 10 nights on his own with the girls- he will stay home a little more- but then again he will probably leave more! No really I do enjoy it, I just enjoy my babies more and would rather watch the rodeo from the stands or my comfy couch than the freezing cold tunnel at the T&M! Soo, if I don't post for awhile it's because my butt has frozen to one if those lovely white saddles atop a piece of junk black Harry Vold horse named Spirit!

We had some bike / scooter races!

Aunt Trish even got in on the action

Doing some tricks with Grandpa Russ

The girls got an early Christmas present! Little People Nativity! We love love it! A friend of mine had one out last year and her kids where always playing with it. I looked all over to buy one but never had much luck! My mother- in law found them and taa daa! The best gift ever!

The babies wanted some left-overs!

The girlies made homemade rolls with Grandma Karm!

Tater cutting the dough

Enjoying all that hard work

Fallon and the cutest boy ever- Payton playing on the floor!

Tea Party anyone?

Shower = Playpen

Fallon has found a new place to play! She loves to crawl in our shower and play! The other day it got very quiet, so I went looking for her. My bedroom door was shut- so I thought nothing about her being in my bathroom. Sure enough- she was sitting in the shower playing with Pinky Pie! Just having a great time- entertaining herself!

Seeing Spots!

Here's some pictures of the double cousin's! It's funny how they are starting to look so much alike! They sure are good girls and we are so lucky to have been blessed to have them in our family!

Cousins...Built in Best Friends

So Long Elk Chair!!

We FINALLY got rid of the oh so beautiful "elk chair"! I am so excited! Ryan's parents had this chair in there house and when we bought our house in Vegas we inherited the chair! Justin and Trisha then bought a house and it went to there place! It was a happy day! ( Can you tell I'm not fond of the chair!)It's green and brown and has the ugliest elk all over it- Sorry Russ, but it was pathetic! It had no filling left in it so when you sat it was just pretty much the frame.Anyways- it came back to our house- oh yippee! Did I mention it took up as much room as a love seat. Oh Happy day Again! It is gone!!! And it had better not return!
As you can tell the girls and Ryan had a celebration tickle war as a going away party for the ugly beast!

Scrub Scrub Scrub...

Two baby girls in the tub!!!

When we go to Cedar this is what the kids love to do most! Play in grandma's tub with the bubbles and colorful lights! Usually all five of them are in there together but this trip was just the baby girls!

It's Cold!!!

Today when we walked out of the chapel after church it was freezing outside! I guess the fall/winter weather has finally hit us!What a bummer, winter is so depressing to me. Bring on the coats, runny noses, frozen fingers, and burning ears!

Fallon got stuck under the high chair!

This is how Tater feels about cold weather!

RED Head

Fallon's hair is getting redder by the day! HELP! What do I do?

True Blue City Boy

Apparently Ryan just wanted to see what it felt like to be an FFA Member! He went into the the extra bedroom closet to get a coat the other night and all of a sudden he is frantically calling my name. I went to see what was wrong and this is what I found! The best part was that he couldn't get it off!
