Taytum's 6th Birthday

Tater turned six on Thursday! Six Six Six Six.... I can not wrap my head around the fact that my sweet, chubby, Blondie, rubber band arm, baby is six years old already! I honestly don't know how that happened so fast! She spent the day hanging out at home and working on her birthday cake and then when daddy got home from work she opened some presents and then chose to go to Samurai for dinner! She got a new suitcase, a CTR ring, new sandals, and a new dress!




We had her party on Friday. A few friends came over and we went to the Overton Pool for some swimming! She really wanted to go to Mesquite like last years party, but momma is too big this year!!!! After swimming we came back to the house for cake and ice cream and presents!

This weekend the girls got to meet their new cousin Cooper Ludlow. He is so sweet and cuddly and smells so good! It's going to make this last month a LLLOOONNNGGG one waiting for our little guy to get here!

Veyo Rodeo

Friday and Saturday night we spent at the Veyo Rodeo! It's finally back after 12 years! I can remember the last one like yesterday,I ran my old black horse "Goose" and got a check! This year was a little different, since I am as big as a horse and in no condition to be riding one, I sat in a chair the whole time! Ryan roped, and the girls had a great time playing in the dirt, eating nachos and pronto pups and chasing chickens! Saturday night Fally caught a frisbee and won a special prize and Tater decided not to chase chickens but rather ride the horse! She has been riding quite a bit lately so maybe she is finally coming back around to the thought of being a cowgirl again!!! Yeah!!!

Veyo Pool

Friday afternoon we hit up the Veyo Pool with Lisa and Kaitlyn. The girls had a great time swimming with daddy and eating ice cream! We took a little break from swimming and went to the creek to catch some crawdads! It was the first time for the girls and they were a little hesitant at first, but once they caught a few they didn't want to stop! They are already asking to go back before school starts!

Hauling Hay...on his Birthday

Last night we went out to get a load of hay with daddy!!! It was hot and muggy but the horses have got to eat! We usually get our hay in Utah but with prices so high this year Ry found some cheap stuff in Moapa that will hold us over until we can get a few loads from cooler country!
What a great way to spend your birthday huh? Bucking bales and sweating to death!!!!
