Soccer

Taytum has started soccer. She bought her own cleats, shin gaurds and ball with her birthday money.Not really too sure this is her forte! She stands by the goal and does cheers for half the game. Yes, she is a cheerleader at heart, and yes I just admitted that! She does however LOVE to eat oranges at half time! Go green team! Next year I think we weill stick to dance.

Barrel Racer

Last week Fallon went with me to the barrel race and did a time only! Unfortunately her sister was the photographer so these are the pictures we ended up with. At least she was pointing the camera in the right direction! Fally had a blast and ran a 97.22222

It is a good thing that Trish and I both have Verizon, otherwise our phone bills would be crazy! These two call each other on the phone non stop every single day!

MVHS Cheer Camp

A few weeks back Tater went to cheer camp at the high school. She had so much fun everyday learning new cheers. When she would get home in the afternoon she was sure to teach her sister everything she learned, then she would call Josie on the phone and teach her too! Fallon is still telling me everyday that she and Josie are big girls and they are going to cheer camp! Next year my dear for sure!
The day of the big performance I came down with strep throat so Grandma Shirley was nice enough to come get Tater all dressed, hair done and ready to cheer! She took and dropped her off and then I went later to try and get a few pics. I only made it long enough to watch a few cheers, but Reagen and grandma stayed to watch her get her award and do a few more cheers! Go Pirates!

Sunflower Girls

The sunflowers are growing like weeds in front of Grandpa Leon's pasture so one day after church we took some pictures of my two most favorite girls!

Taytum's 5th Birthday Party

This year Tater wanted to have a swimming party. She invited her closest friends and family to join her at the Mesquite Rec Center. We just might have to do that every year from here on out! It was so easy and so fun!We all swam ,swam, swam and swam some more. Ate cupcakes, opened presents, swam again and that was that! Easiest party ever! As we were leaving she told me, "Mom , that was the BEST birthday ever!" Yep Tater, I would have to agree!

On her actual birthday she got a new bike, which she desperately needed. At her party she got tons of fun gifts and was way spoiled! Ice rings, Zhu Zhu pet,Jewelery, new clothes, markers and art stuff, a Razor scooter, a hair waver,Toy Story and a Pillow pet. Her favorite was going to the mail and getting her birthday cards full of money! That's my girl!

First day of Kindergarten Fun

This morning Tater came in my room before I was out of bed and asked, " Mom, when will the bus be here to get me?" She was all dressed in one of her new outfits, and ready for me to do her hair!
She rode her bike to the bus stop, then off she went! Fallon, Grandma S and I met her at the school to make sure she made it and she did! She told me it was freezing on the bus and that her new shoes came untied. She played on the playground for a few minutes then into the classroom they all went.
We met her this afternoon at the bus stop again and she rode her bike back home. As she was telling me about her day she remembered that her teacher gave her some M&M's and she left them on the bus. Poor girl broke down into a hysterical cry and sat on her bed bawling over her M&M's! I promised her I would take her to get some more tomorrow! Next time she will remember to put everything in her backpack.She also told me that all the big kids on the bus in the afternoon would not let her sit down and kept pushing her! She said she stood the whole way home! That girl can sure tell some serious stories!!! We are so proud of our Tater Bug and the big girl that she is becoming, although I would like to freeze time I am a pretty proud mommy!
