Just Another Week

Pink Heart

So here is the story... Every year for Valentine's Day Ryan's mom makes all the kids and grandkids pink rice krispie hearts. Tuesday I was BBQ'ing and I came in the house and Taytum said to me, " Mom, can I have my pink heart after dinner?" I have no clue what made her think of the pink heart or for that matter how she remembered about it, but she then asked her dad the same thing. He, like me, had no clue where she came up with this. Anyways she called Grandma Karm, and the next day she had a pink heart! She ate about a quarter of it that night, then I hid it so she wouldn't get a belly ache. She woke up at 5:30 the next morning, climbed on the counter and ate the whole dang thing!

Okay - I just had to put this picture on because it reminds me sooo much of Kyna when she was a little girl! She was ( and still is) the prettiest girl I have ever seen! I sure hope Tater follows in her footsteps, she is such a good girl.

So last night Reagen came to stay and Taytum really wanted to put on her Dancing Princess Video! She talked Reaggy into dancing with her. Not sure who enjoyed it more the twelve year old or the three year old! Too bad Taytum didn't do the usual and get out all her dress ups and 14 pairs of Princess shoes and 6 crowns! Reagen would have been styling then!

Biker babe!

Here is Taytum out riding her new bike! She loves to go up and down the street in the evenings when it is starting to cool of a bit! At first I would walk with her, but now she tells me, "Mom just stay right here by the fence and I will be right back!" Then off she goes to the crazy lady's house- she is usually fine until one of those peacocks start squealing at her or those freaky looking emu's flap there wings like they are gonna get her! Then she comes hauling butt back home! It's pretty funny!

Her is the Princess just after her bath! ( The bike no longer comes in the house, this was just before we had taken it outside)

Fallon has figured out how to squish my toes! She loves her walker and now chases me around the kitchen! She can really get going in that thing! The other morning I was unloading the dishwasher and she got stuck on top of one of the air vents! By the time I got to her her poor little feet were like icicles, but she didn't seem to mind she was off and going again!

And, Fally has also learned to sit up all by herself! FINALLY I think Josie has had this down for like at least two months! Soo, the other day when we went to Mesquite we stopped at Arby's for lunch and I had just set Fallon down on the table in her car seat. I was trying to get Tater to eat her chicken ( she likes to stare at people instead of eat when in public, No idea where she gets that)anyways, this lady comes up to me and asks me where I live yadda yadda yadda, then she says to me, well, you know your baby is MUCH TO BIG for her car seat. EXCUSE ME? I could not believe what I was hearing. She went on to tell me I need to go have her checked and my car seats checked -by her! ( apparently she works at the extension agency, and is a self proclaimed Pediatrician ) Ha ,right on that! Oh the nerve of some people- it ruined my whole day!
