We had a long fun weekend in Cedar! Ryan and the girls and I, and the three horses, and the dog left Thursday afternoon. We thought if we left early enough we would be able to take the horses out to Summit to turn out for the weekend and be back to the house when everyone else got there! WRONG! The truck started slowing down right out of Hurricane, we went from 80 mph to 4 mph! We dumped out the horses at Mel Clark's in Kanaraville and then crawled the rest of the way to Cedar! I have no clue what is wrong with the truck, but it ran fine the rest of the weekend and the whole way home. I'm quite sure it's because it's a Ford- but Ryan disagrees!
Friday the girls went to get pedicures in Cedar!- NEVER again- I have no toe nails left and it looks like Tater painted them, literally! The guy that did mine was much more into the movie than my feet, and I 'm pretty sure he was retarded. He really enjoyed using his clippers however, I got no massage, no scrubbing of the heels, but plenty of trimming! I'm sure to have in-grown's in a couple weeks! Saturday was a fun day, we all went out to Three Peaks with the Beckwith's! Jeeps, 4-wheeler's, motorcycles, and the best part Papa Russell's Toy Hauler for the babies! We all had a great time and I'm sure we will be doing that again this summer! We just won't let any small children ride with Jac! Sunday we were off to Minersville to Grandpa Joe's grave, then over to the farm for Macaroni Salad! The guys brought there guns, but not enough ammo! They went out shooting chizzlers for hours! Monday the girls and I tried to sleep in, but my lovely husband thinks he has to arise before the sun, and kept bugging us! When I don't sleep I am not a nice person, and so his ride home was not a pleasant one!
